SESSION CANCELLED Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has become a common technique throughout higher education. PBL is a strategy that respects context and asks learners to engage in concrete inquiry that has consequences. PBL promotes the idea that problem-solving and the knowledge gains that accompany it are the result of transforming the problematic situation. Most PBL models rely on the learner’s intuitive grasp of the operations of transformation.
