Let's Play!: Building A User-Centered Game Learning Environment

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Turning the principles of financial planning into a motivating game-based learning environment for students requires close collaboration between lead faculty, developers and artists. In our game, students play four characters, each with unique goals and in various financial situations. The objective is to reach their characters' financial goals while maintaining a balance with the character's overall happiness. Along the journey events happen that will force the player to reflect on their plans.
