For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

This session will introduce participants to the process of building an online course by introducing the basic principles of online learning using ilearnOhio, the state’s comprehensive eLearning platform for P-20 education. In this session, participants will learn about course organization techniques, instructional design principles and find out how to use digital content to support their e-learning initiatives.
Once participants are comfortable with the practices, sample learning objects and online courses will be shared and developed. Participants should bring their own device and will leave the session with the skill and ability to implement online learning in their school or classroom.
